Stamp-a-Stack Cards (March 2010)

Here are some cards that we made at this month's Stamp-a-Stack. Don't know what that is? Well, it is just as the name suggests - we stamp a stack of cards. I provide all supplies but the adhesive. I usually have 5 designed cards or projects each month for $15.
This first card is one of my recent favorites. I used the "faux silk" technique with the hostess set, "Asian Artistry". not a difficult card, but I think it is stunning (the photo really doesn't do it justice).
Next was an even simpler card - just a piece of DSP, some ribbon and a stamped sentiment. I used Chocolate Chip c/s, Sending Love DSP, 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, and "Well Scripted" with the wide oval punch.

This sweet butterfly card features the Beautiful Wings embosslit for the Sizzix Big Shot along with the new Scallop Trim border and corner punches. Once again, just a stamped sentiment and you're in business!

I "borrowed" the next card design from the Occasions Mini catalog. I changed up the colors and a few other elements. I used Sage Shadow, Bravo Burgundy and Pretty in Pink.

This was also from the Occasions Mini - page 5. It gave us a chance to use the water color wonder crayons with the blender pens.

I hold stamp-a-stacks each month on the first full weekend. The next one will be Easter Weekend. Friday the 2nd from 6:30pm-9pm and Saturday, April 3rd from 10am - noon.

Here is a sweet Valentine set I designed. It was a simple box to hold 3X3 cards and a coordinating full-sized card. The full-sized card features the Heart treat cups and Sweetheart stamp set. The DSP is Tea Party.

Valentine's Day 2010
We made good use of Stampin' Up's Valentines by baking some yummy sour cream cookies for Katy's classmates. She was so happy to be able to help out... I definitely have a future stamper on my hands.
